Official sources and Praveta summaries
Praveta draws on official public sources such as Congress.gov and Senate.gov, and on information published through Praveta by participating public organizations.
Praveta's plain-language explanations are informational. They are intended to help you understand official material, not to replace it. Government information also changes over time, and Praveta may not always reflect the most recent action. Where an official source is linked, that source governs.
Praveta aims to be nonpartisan and does not tell you how to vote or what to think. If you believe something on Praveta is inaccurate, please report it.
Community polling
Community polls are informal and are not scientific surveys, official elections, or government polling. Results are presented in aggregate and should not be treated as a representative measure of public opinion.
Public organization content
Information published through Praveta by a participating public organization is the responsibility of that organization. Praveta presents it alongside the official source material where available.
Intellectual property
Government records and official source material are public information. The Praveta name, logo, design, and original written content belong to Praveta. Please do not use Praveta branding in a way that suggests affiliation or endorsement without permission.
Availability and changes
Praveta is under active development. Features may change, and service may be interrupted or discontinued. Praveta may update these terms as the product changes, and the date above indicates when they were last updated.
Disclaimers
Praveta is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Praveta does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, or that all information will be complete or current at all times.
Nothing on Praveta is legal, financial, or professional advice. For decisions that matter, consult the official source or a qualified professional.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Praveta is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or for decisions made in reliance on information presented on Praveta.
